Rugby Alliance hosts the stars of tomorrow
May 03rd, 2015
On Sunday May 3rd, 2015, The Rugby Alliance hosted the third annual rugby skills clinic at Downsview Park.
Over 700 children from rugby clubs around Toronto, TIRF (Toronto inner city rugby foundation) and children of staff and clients enjoyed an afternoon of rugby skills training provided by top international players. Coaches included Matt Burke (one of the world’s best fullbacks and all-time second highest scorer for Australia) and Canadian World Cup legends like Al Charon and Kyle Nichols, amongst others.
In addition to on field rugby action, the kids received memorable items such as rugby balls, fleeces and water bottles. They also had the opportunity to take pictures with the players and have their rugby ball autographed.
